Initial exercises in acquiring a target and putting
The first recommended exercise to do when using Target Mode, for the first time is to acquire your target and then hit from that same spot, this is just about getting used to the system.
2 very important and key considerations when using Target Mode.
(1) After a target is acquired, the golfer needs to wait 3 seconds before a putt can be taken, this also runs simultaneously with the “acquired target” button, floating off the top of the screen.
(2) Excessively high rotation and club head movement after the target has been acquired. This is to manage the existence of “gyroscopic drift”. Once the target is acquired, you can make a reasonable movement to where you want to hit from and then take your putt.
When the sensor / system experiences excessively high rotation, we cancel the putt (On screen you will see “Target Dropped”), you can then press ‘X’ to cancel and then the play button to start again.
