Updating the Vertex SmartCore Sensor Firmware

From within the Vertex App, make sure your Vertex SmartCore Sensor is connected to your iPhone or, iPad.

Access the Menu (Top Left) >> SmartCore.

Middle left of your screen you will see what level of firmware your SmartCore device is currently running. If your device is up-to-date you then you will not be notified of an available update. If there is an option which says “Firmware Update Available” in Orange, then you can click on the link and it will automatically start with the “Over-The-Air, Firmware Upgrade Process”, this generally takes no longer than 10-15 seconds.

After the Firmware Update has been completed, the sensor will automatically disconnect your device from the App and reboot. You can now reconnect to your sensor if you want to.
